First United Methodist Church in Mocksville was founded in 1833 and grew out of Bethel Church located about a mile from our current building. By 1836, our church had 66 members. We have a very active congregation with members of all ages. Sunday worship services include Early Light in our Family Life Center at 8:45 a.m. and a more traditional service at 10:55 a.m in the Sanctuary with the Chancel Choir leading in worship each week.
